Job summary

Dow Jones White Oak plant technicians maintain and troubleshoot production equipment across the plateroom, press/reel room, and mailroom. Based in White Oak, MD, you will also perform IT tasks such as software upgrades and backups to keep mission-critical systems running.

You will troubleshoot industrial machinery, perform electrical measurements, provide PC support, and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electro-mechanical experience.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Technical degree or equivalent military training or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery including PLC and relay controls, variable speed drives, and pneumatic controls.
• Provide PC support including Windows OS and basic networking.
• Perform electrical tests and measurements using standard equipment (VOM, oscilloscope).
• Be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
