Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician in Tempe, AZ. The role provides on-site IT support at a manufacturing facility, resolving hardware, software, and network issues and aligning IT with production systems.

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to user IT issues via helpdesk tickets, phone, or in-person.
Escalate and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network problems.
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, ERP systems like SAP, and engineering tools.
Diagnose and resolve network problems including LAN/WAN configurations and IoT integrations.
Conduct preventive maintenance, patch management, backups, and security audits.
Set up and maintain audiovisual systems for meetings and training.
Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
