Job summary

UPS Industrial Services is seeking experienced Ironworkers for our Texas City, Texas project. The role focuses on structural steel installation, fabrication, rigging, and industrial construction in refinery and petrochemical environments.

Qualified candidates will read blueprints and drawings, use hand and power tools, and follow strict safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship on ongoing construction and maintenance projects. Valid TWIC card and NCCER certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Ironworker experience in industrial/refinery/petrochemical environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs to determine material requirements and installation methods.
• Safely operate hand and power tools for assigned tasks.
• Assist with hoisting and positioning materials using cranes and rigging.
• Communicate with crane operators using proper signals and methods.
