Job summary

EGC Construction, an operating unit of Messer Construction Co., is seeking an Ironworker with Commercial/Industrial experience to join the team in Newport, Kentucky. You will rig structural steel, connect and bolt up connections, and perform detailed work on bar joists, decking, and handrails.

Welding of structural steel (stick welding) and equipment rigging are required. OSHA 10 is preferred, travel may be required, and you must work safely in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certified, preferred.
• Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills.
• Willing to travel.
• Able to work in varied weather conditions.
