Job summary

Tetra Tech Digital Systems, based in Texas, seeks a senior AVEVA PI Systems Architect to design and implement full PI platforms and cloud architectures for industrial clients. You will drive data collection, storage, warehousing, and reporting strategies and lead multi-project delivery with a focus on security and operational excellence.

Required eight years with AVEVA PI, oil and gas PI deployment leadership, and a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years with AVEVA PI Systems.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas deployment of PI systems leading teams.
• Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer) or CS preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Detail oriented with quality focus and ability to prioritize workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement PI System Architecture and cloud-based Infrastructure.
• Define strategies for data collection, storage, warehousing and reporting.
• Set best practices for Cloud Based Data management Platforms.
• Act as design authority for cloud data projects.
• Develop project execution plans for Enterprise Aveva Pi system implementation.
• Lead and coordinate project teams; ensure plan adherence.
• Create detailed design drawings and architecture diagrams.
• Engage as SME in discussions with clients on IIoT, software, and cloud infra.
• Grow client relationships and onboard new team members; ensure safety & cyber practices.
