Austin Industrial is seeking an Insulator to install, remove, and repair insulating material on ducts, pipes, tanks, boilers and buildings to help control temperatures and noise. You will read blueprints, select material, measure, cut, and fit insulation according to specifications.

Requirements include 3–5 years of journeyman level experience. Education: no minimum. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Austin Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Measures and cuts insulation to required sizes.
• Fits and secures insulation per blueprint specifications.
• Must be able to work at heights and in industrial environments.

• Brush adhesives or attach insulation to surfaces as needed.
• Cover or seal insulation to secure it to structures.
