Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks a skilled Insulation Technician to apply, repair, and install insulation on surfaces or equipment, following blueprints and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Texas.

Candidates should have about 4 years of scaffolding experience, a valid driver’s license and TWIC, NCCER-Ind Insul PV preferred. Must be able to work at heights, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in scaffolding is preferred.
• Must be able to apply, remove, and repair insulating material on surfaces or structures to control temperature and noise.
• Safety procedures, ability to read blueprints, and adherence to company policies are required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and select insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive to insulation material.
• Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape.
• Fit or wrap insulation around structures following blueprint specifications.
• Seal insulation with covers, tape, or sealant as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
