Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an on-site Insulation Installer with at least 4 years of scaffolding experience to join our team in Texas. You will read blueprints, select and install insulation materials, apply adhesives, and ensure proper fitting on ducts, tanks, and equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Required certifications include NCCER-Ind Insul PV, TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Must be able to work at heights and handle physical tasks.
• Adheres to safety procedures and wears PPE at all times.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and works in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Brushes adhesives on or attaches insulation material.
• Measures and cuts insulation to fit surfaces per specs.
• Fits and wraps insulation around structures per blueprint.
• Works at heights and uses tools like tape measure, saw, or knife.
• Maintains safety, quality, and productivity standards.
