Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. in Baytown, TX is seeking an Experienced Industrial Inside Sales Person to prepare quotes, assist Territory Managers, and handle customer inquiries. You will manage house accounts, review AR balances, and drive sales through telemarketing of additional products while using Outlook and CRM tools.

Qualified candidates have 1-3 years in sales, preferably in industrial markets, and strong communication and time-management skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of welding and gas products strongly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for customers.
• Assist Territory Managers to review and manage accounts receivable balances.
• Intake calls for new orders and resolve emergency orders.
• Call on house accounts to increase sales volume and frequency.
• Grow sales through telemarketing of other products.
• Use CRM platforms for planning and tracking opportunities.
