Job summary

Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Instrumentation & Electrical and utility systems at our University Park, IL site. You’ll troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, calibrate sensors, install valves, and maintain boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and water treatment processes.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 7+ years industrial maintenance, strong reading of blueprints, LOTO permits, and experience with HART, multimeters, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
7+ years in industrial maintenance or construction, chemical manufacturing preferred.
Strong ability to read blueprints, piping and instrumentation drawings, and manuals.
Proficiency using computers for work orders, drawings, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Calibrate sensors and control devices (pressure, temperature, flow).
Set up valves, positioners, and I/P transducers.
Configure devices with HART communicator or instrument panels.
Troubleshoot loop wiring for analog and discrete devices.
Maintain boilers, air compressors, cooling towers and water treatment systems.
