Job summary

Element Logic is seeking a hands-on Resident Maintenance Technician to support our Service & Maintenance team in University Park, IL. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help keep automated systems running reliably in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in industrial or automated environments.
• Experience with automated systems (conveyors, sorters, divertors) is a plus.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or on‑call support if required.

Responsibilities

• Report on spare parts, consumables, tools, etc.
• Report requirements for tools needed to perform tasks.
• Inform supervisor about updates, incidents, risk factors, etc.
• Perform activities according to company standards and regulations.
• Use the maintenance management system.
• Inform supervisor of deviations from planned activities due to client requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of facilities under responsibility.
• Manage PPE and corporate clothing; report wear or loss.
• Comply with safety standards defined by company and client.
• Adhere to work schedule set by management.
• Support the Quality Management System.
• Maintain a professional appearance per company standards.
