Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks an I&E Technician to provide instrumentation and electrical expertise for preventive and repair maintenance of plant equipment. The role requires performing calibrations, integrity checks, and maintaining records to ensure reliability and safety.

You will support production and engineering with instrumentation applications, stay current on safety practices, and be available for on-call needs to help sustain high on-stream time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate from an approved Instrument/Electrical school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial plant; technical training with a science background or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings; good mechanical aptitude and strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, repair and integrity checks of process instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Implement and document preventive and predictive maintenance for process instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to production and engineering on instrumentation applications; maintain department records and resources.
