Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an I&E Technician in Florence, SC to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems for safe and reliable plant operations.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of instrumentation and electrical experience and strong troubleshooting abilities. The role requires reading schematics and working in environments requiring PPE; drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of instrumentation and electrical experience.
• Strong electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, loop drawings, and technical documents.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnose failures using testing equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, loop drawings, and work orders.
• Test and calibrate instruments including transmitters and valves.
• Participate in equipment installations and capital projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and PPE.
