Job summary

Austin Industrial in Bishop, TX is seeking an I&E Technician to service process instruments, calibrate and troubleshoot control devices, and support instrumentation maintenance as part of our industrial service team. You will read schematics, work with PLCs, perform field calibration, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and NCCER standards.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years journeyman experience, NCCER certification and a State Electrical License; must be able to obtain legal

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years Journeyman experience preferred.
NCCER certification and State Electrical License required.
Ability to read manuals, schematics, blueprints and testing specs.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments as part of the maintenance program.
Maintain process instruments including valves and vibration monitors.
Perform field calibration of electronic instruments with transmitters, controllers and transducers.
Read and troubleshoot from one-line schematics, P&ID's, and ladder diagrams.
Loop check electrical wiring for continuity and proper termination.
