Job summary

Austin Industrial in Florence, SC is seeking an I&E Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will install, maintain, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems to support safe, reliable plant operations, using PPE as required.

The position requires reading blueprints and performing preventive maintenance in a production environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of instrumentation/electrical experience, PLC knowledge, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of instrumentation and electrical experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, loop drawings, manuals, and work orders.
• Test, calibrate, install, and inspect instrumentation devices including transmitters and analytical instruments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Support equipment installations, shutdowns, and capital improvement projects.
