Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an experienced Multi-Craft I&E Technician to install, calibrate, configure, program, modify, diagnose, and repair electronic, computerized, and electro-mechanical equipment. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on DCS, CEMS, and related systems, often working independently while coordinating with teams.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years of industrial experience, with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years troubleshooting instrumentation/electrical systems in industrial/mfg or chemical plants.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain control system equipment and support systems (transmitters, valves, regulators, recorders).
• Maintain and repair DCS, PLCs, and related computers.
• Perform calibration, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments.
• Maintain safety systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, UPS, and battery systems.
