This role services the Minneapolis MN metro area, delivering high-quality environmental testing to a wide range of clients, including restoration and abatement companies, homeowners, and insurance providers.As a Mobile Lab Technician, you’ll be responsible for traveling throughout a defined region to collect samples, conduct on-site testing, and generate accurate reports that support environmental safety and compliance. Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Industrial Hygienist - Mobile Lab Technician... * Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology, engineering, geology, or a related field preferred.* Relevant certifications strongly preferred, including NIOSH 582, EPA AHERA, or ACAC certifications (e.g., CIEC).* Prior experience with asbestos, mold, and lead testing in a laboratory or field setting is highly desirable.* Familiarity with microscopy techniques is a plus—training will be provided.* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow established testing procedures.* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing.* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.* Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area and work flexible hours as needed.* Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
