Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an Industrial Hygienist to support a safety-focused work environment by identifying, evaluating, and controlling occupational health hazards. You will develop IH programs, conduct exposure assessments, and collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk reduction.

Additionally, you will participate in audits, deliver IH training, and help integrate IH requirements into work processes

Qualifications

• Education or professional background in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• 2+ years ES&H experience with emphasis on industrial hygiene in highly regulated environments.
• Experience using air sampling equipment, noise dosimeters, IH instrumentation, and exposure monitoring methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain IH programs addressing chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
• Conduct exposure assessments, including air sampling, noise monitoring, and IH evaluations.
• Analyze exposure data and recommend engineering, administrative, and PPE controls.
