Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities
Develops, implements, leads, and audits US IH programs and policies.
Determines sampling strategy and conducts workplace monitoring to meet regulatory requirements.
Manages annual IH surveys at all US locations.
Analyzes/interprets sampling data results and compares to establish exposure limits.
Identifies and recommends controls to reduce exposure levels.
Assesses new materials to determine potential health threats.
Maintains understanding of material hazards and regulations.
Develops/conducts training for site EHS engineers and factory employees.
Skills
Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI and ACGIH standards
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of ventilation systems
Education
BS in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health/Management
Certification by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as a Certified Industrial Hygienist
