Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Specialist to join the Workplace Safety Center of Excellence. You will serve as a global IH subject matter expert, shaping programs, standards, and risk mitigation across sites worldwide.

You will collaborate with EHS teams, operations, and regulators to ensure compliance, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in occupational health, industrial hygiene or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in chemical, petrochemical, or related industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex regulations (OSHA, EPA, EU) and collaborate with internal experts to ensure compliance.
• Experience in performing air sampling, noise monitoring, and other specialized tests.
• Experience establishing metrics and dashboards for reporting.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide services, programs, guidance to teams to manage occupational health hazards and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, and operations to design and implement controls.
• Develop, update and review EHS standards, guidance, training, and materials.
• Provide subject matter expertise on industrial hygiene and regulatory matters.
• Monitor developments in OSHA, EPA, EU to ensure compliant programs.
• Create, collect, measure, and analyze metrics and KPIs for improvement.
• Lead site audits and engage corporate networks to share best practices.
• Engage sites through training, site visits, and incident investigations.
