Zusammenfassung

Bell Textron Inc. is hiring an Industrial Hygienist to support its Safety program at the Fort Worth, TX facilities.

The role will develop and strengthen the industrial hygiene program, manage exposure monitoring, and serve as a subject matter expert on air quality and chemical management. You will advise leadership, conduct risk assessments, and help ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA standards while coordinating with health services and manufacturing teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Health or a similar technical discipline.
• 5+ years of Health Safety & Awareness experience in R&D, industrial operations, or field service.
• Certifications or active pursuit of SH&E credentials; Six Sigma and Confined Space certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with PC software and IH instrumentation such as sound meters, PID devices, gas analyzers, and pumps.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA and related health and safety regulations; ability to identify and control chemical hazards.

Aufgaben

• Assess and surveil risks from materials and chemical use; review hazard assessments.
• Develop and improve industrial hygiene programs and exposure monitoring strategies.
• Plan and conduct exposure monitoring and sampling; review regulatory requirements.
• Maintain IH data systems and calibration standards for equipment.
• Interpret exposure results and recommend controls to minimize health hazards.
• Advise management on IH issues and support risk management decisions.
• Teach health and safety classes and participate in investigations.
