Job summary

Bell is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to support our Safety program at Bell’s headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. The successful candidate will manage the development, implementation, and strengthen the industrial hygiene program at Bell Facilities.

Responsibilities include assessing hazards, planning exposure monitoring, maintaining data systems, and advising leadership on IH issues to prevent health risks. On-site collaboration with health services is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Health Safety & Awareness experience in R&D, operations, or field service.
• Manufacturing experience and safety credentials preferred; Six Sigma/Confined Space beneficial.
• Proficiency with PC software and industrial hygiene instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and surveil risk from materials and chemical use; perform hazard assessments.
• Develop and continually improve industrial hygiene programs and exposure monitoring.
• Plan and conduct exposure monitoring; design sampling strategies and perform air sampling.
• Maintain IH data management and calibration standards for equipment.
• Serve as SME in IAQ, sampling methods, and chemical management; interpret results.
• Advise management on IH issues and support risk management decisions.
• Teach health and safety classes and support investigations across the organization.
