Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking an Industrial Hygienist / Radiation Safety Officer for a large-scale Western US facility. This hands-on role supports industrial hygiene and radiation safety programs, assesses hazards, and partners with EHS leadership and site operations to strengthen health and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IH and/or radiation safety in heavy industry, with exposure assessments, monitoring, and program support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial hygiene and/or radiation safety.
• Experience in exposure assessments and workplace monitoring in heavy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CIH/CSP/CMSP/RSO/ARSO certifications a plus.
• Experience in mining, manufacturing, chemical processing, or other heavy industrial operations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct workplace assessments for health and radiation hazards.
• Perform IH sampling and monitoring (air, dust, fumes, vapors, noise).
• Support radiation surveys and exposure assessments.
• Analyze monitoring data to minimize exposure risks.
• Recommend engineering controls, admin controls, and PPE.
• Prepare technical reports and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with operations to promote a safe work environment.
