Job summary

The EI Group, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team to help identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

You will collaborate with Industrial Hygienists and Safety Professionals to conduct inspections, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders, while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive asbestos inspections following regulatory guidelines.
• Perform lead inspections to identify hazards and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct indoor air quality assessments evaluating pollutants, ventilation, moisture, and mold.
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings clearly to clients.
• Keep updated on OSHA, EPA, AHERA, NESHAP and related requirements.
