Job summary

Atlas in the United States is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Project Manager to lead hazardous materials surveys, sampling, remediation oversight, and documentation.

You will work in a client-focused environment, travel to client sites, manage projects, supervise junior staff, and help implement IH and safety best practices. The role requires DOSH asbestos knowledge, regulatory understanding, strong writing, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project planning, environmental sciences, engineering, construction, architecture, industrial hygiene, occupational health, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of consulting experience in Industrial Hygiene and Building Sciences projects including asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials.
• Ability to wear respirator and PPE as needed.
• Strong written and oral communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazardous materials surveys and sampling.
• Provide remediation oversight and review related documentation and reports.
• Manage field assessments and project teams.
• Prepare and collect environmental samples and organize data for reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local IH regulations and safety standards.
