Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Hygienist / EHS Consultant to advance environmental health and safety programs.

You will conduct assessments, develop sampling plans, provide regulatory guidance, and support client teams in challenging environments. The role offers collaboration across consulting and client sites, with opportunities for mentoring, project management growth, and travel within 50 miles of Bay Area CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4-8 years of relevant EHS experience; advanced degrees may substitute.
• Should be actively working toward safety related certifications: ASP/CSP, AEP/CPE, CIH.
• Intermediate knowledge of EHS regulations, environmental issues, and permitting.
• Familiarity with health & safety programs, IH, ergonomics, and emergency response.
• Understanding of regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA) and ISO standards.
• Internship experience with consulting or technology industry.
• Skills in sampling, data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Create IH sampling plans and assist CIH with complex plans.
• Conduct facility inspections and IH sampling to identify hazards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and docs.
• Support safety programs such as lockout/tagout and confined space.
• Provide regulatory guidance, technical support, and onsite safety services.
• Deliver EHS training on various topics.
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and office/site assessments.
• Plan and coordinate project logistics and timelines.
• Analyze data to support decisions and regulatory interpretation.
• Prepare reports and proposals aligned with standards.
• Communicate professionally with clients, regulators, and teams.
• Mentor staff and potentially manage project staff.
