Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant with a strong Industrial Hygiene background to support clients across the Bay Area. The role blends fieldwork, client interaction, IH assessments, and regulatory compliance consulting in diverse industries.

Expect exposure to multiple projects, ongoing professional growth, and a collaborative, safety-focused team environment. Hybrid field and client-facing work with regular Bay Area travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related consulting environment.
• Experience conducting workplace inspections, exposure assessments, hazard evaluations, and compliance audits.
• Strong technical writing, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and client priorities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IH assessments and exposure evaluations for chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
• Develop exposure monitoring and sampling programs and perform air and noise surveys.
• Develop and enhance EHS programs, procedures, and management systems.
• Deliver occupational health and safety training and support client EHS initiatives.
• Coordinate project activities and mentor junior staff.
