Austin Industrial is seeking an HVAC Technician in Freeport, TX to install, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC equipment across industrial sites. This role requires hands-on experience with chillers, boilers, furnaces, and commercial/industrial systems.

Qualifications

4 years of industrial HVAC experience, including chillers.
EPA Universal Certification required for handling refrigerants.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC System.
Plan shutdowns for maintenance and repair pumps including chill water and heating water.
Perform brazing, soldering, pipefitting, welding, and fabrication.
Read blueprints, piping, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Inspect, monitor, repair, and operate mechanical systems, motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, and switches.
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC distribution equipment to optimize energy use.
Troubleshoot and modify HVAC systems as needed.
Maintain maintenance records per City, State, and EPA regulations.
Order and manage parts for HVAC equipment repair.
Manage relationships with vendor accounts.
Work may involve safety compliance and PPE adherence.
