Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Industrial HVAC Technician in Florence, KY to support day-to-day reliability for lead-based plant operations. You will diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment and support day-to-day maintenance.

The ideal candidate has EPA Universal Certification and 3–5 years of hands-on experience, with strong troubleshooting skills on compressors, refrigerant circuits, and electrical systems. This onsite role offers structured shifts and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience servicing refrigerant-based HVAC systems.
• Proven troubleshooting experience with compressors, refrigerant circuits, and mechanical components.
• Working knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, low-voltage controls, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation; comfort using CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment including chillers, DX units, heat pumps, and rooftop units (RTUs).
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, leak detection, brazing, and compressor repairs in compliance with EPA and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot HVAC electrical components, low-voltage controls, sensors, and building automation devices.
• Support preventive maintenance by completing scheduled inspections, documenting findings, and tracking refrigerant usage.
• Assist with startups, functional testing, and commissioning support for new or upgraded equipment.
