Job summary

Elanco Clinton, IN is seeking an HVAC / Refrigerant Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC and chiller systems on a manufacturing site. You will perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus mechanical aptitude and EPA Refrigerant Certification. Four 10-hour shifts are followed by a rotating 12-hour schedule, with on-call rotations and overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or technical/vocational training preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial HVAC and chiller systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on process and utility chillers, HVAC systems, exhaust fans, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and improve chiller and HVAC equipment; support emergency response during on-call rotations.
• Support predictive maintenance initiatives using vibration analysis and eddy current testing to improve reliability.
• Coordinate downtime with operations, engineering, maintenance, and contractors to implement improvements.
• Maintain technical knowledge and participate in training to support a collaborative team environment.
