Job summary

Safe Air Technology LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Refrigeration Technician to support the manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of our industrial HVAC systems in hazardous environments.

Qualifications

Experience with industrial HVAC/R systems.
Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
Reading and following EPA regulations where applicable.
Ability to work in hazardous industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, and troubleshoot industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Verify installation and operation of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
Charge, evacuate, leak-test, and pressure-test per EPA standards.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues prior to shipment.
Collaborate with engineering on design improvements and manufacturability.
Document testing, troubleshooting steps, and corrective actions.
Follow safety protocols when handling refrigerants and high-voltage systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
