Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Plumber/HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and plumbing systems in an industrial setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics while adhering to safety regulations and customer requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and EPA HVAC certifications preferred. Candidates with journeyman-level plumbing experience and industrial HVAC maintenance background are encouraged to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• EPA HVAC certification and HVAC-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance inspections and preventative checks on facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, refrigeration units, and industrial plumbing systems.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Inspect plumbing, drainage, and related systems to ensure proper operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Work with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, copper, and other piping materials.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components associated with HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Complete assigned projects independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and measurement conversions.
