Job summary

SJS Executives, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Equipment Mechanic to support facilities operations at a Public Works department on a local Naval Base. The role involves disassembling, repairing and reassembling pumps, chillers, compressors, and motors, focusing on refrigeration cycles.

Qualified candidates must have EPA Universal Certification, 4+ years of HVAC experience, a valid state driver’s license, CPR and OSHA 10, and the ability to work on-site on a federal installation.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification required.
• 4+ years HVAC Mechanic experience in light commercial or heavy industrial settings.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• CPR certification and OSHA 10 required; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial HVACR systems.
• Carry certification card on duty and present when requested.
• Read blueprints and operating manuals.
• Follow refrigerant handling guidelines per 40 CFR 82 and applicable laws.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of systems through inspections and repairs.
