Job summary

Florida Crystals seeks an HR Assistant to support daily HR operations at the Okeelanta facility. You will work closely with the HR and Operations teams in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and fostering a positive workplace culture.

The role requires basic HR knowledge, 1–2 years of HR support experience, and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Expect collaboration with production staff and management, with PPE during facility walkthroughs.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of HR support experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required; able to communicate effectively with diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the HR Department.
• Address employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and HR matters.
• Assist in recruitment, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and background checks for union positions.
• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and safety training for new hires.
• Support investigations and resolution of employee relations issues with HR management as needed.
• Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR files.
• Assist with compliance documentation and EEOC/ADA/COBRA regulations.
