Singer Industrial Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Industrial Hose & Rubber Outside Sales professional. You will develop new business, grow existing accounts, and help customers solve industrial application, maintenance, production, and supply-chain challenges.

The role requires knowledge of industrial hose, rubber products, and related components, plus the ability to discuss customer requirements credibly and coordinate with internal teams for quotes and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must have professional experience selling or supporting industrial hose, rubber, or related products.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment and environments.
• Ability to evaluate customer applications and translate requirements into product recommendations.
• Experience with developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships.

Responsabilités

• Prospect for and qualify new customers within the assigned territory.
• Apply the company’s five-stage sales methodology to identify opportunities and close sales.
• Visit customer facilities to understand equipment and maintenance needs.
• Ask technical questions to determine material conveyed, pressure, temperature, and chemical compatibility.
• Recommend products addressing customer applications and operational needs.
• Coordinate with internal specialists for quotes, specs, and delivery expectations.
• Build relationships with maintenance teams, engineers, and purchasing personnel.
• Submit sales reports and forecasts accurately and on time.

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering
