Job summary

TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS is hiring a Header Welder for industrial fabrication. You will weld and fit air-cooled heat exchanger headers and related components, reading drawings and following welding procedures to ensure quality welds.

The role requires independent work with strong attention to detail and safety. Experience with multiple welding positions and carbon arc gouging/plasma cutting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reading fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Skill in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, or SAW welding processes.
• Ability to produce quality welds that meet codes and specs.
• Experience with carbon steel; other alloys a plus.
• Strong safety and quality mindset; reliable attendance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fit components on headers and related parts.
• Read welding procedures and follow specified parameters.
• Interpret drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, and sizes.
• Weld header joints and assemble components per codes.
• Assist with fixing nozzles, plates, and plug boxes as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow SOPs.
