Job summary

8700 SEW-Eurodrive, Inc. is seeking an engineering student for a on-site internship in Wellford, SC. You will work with Corporate Engineering and IG Engineering to support technical projects for sales and shop staff.

The role requires enrollment in an engineering program and offers a pay range of $19–$20 per hour with a 1st shift schedule. Benefits start on DAY ONE and include medical, life, disability, FSA, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
• Mechanical/technical background required.
• SolidWorks knowledge or AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Document and support engineering projects using Microsoft Office tools.
• CAD drafting in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for parts design or shop tools/layouts.
• Understand torque, HP, and sizing criteria for gear reducers and motors.
• Interact professionally with IG internal customers in office and shop settings.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise.
