Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks an Operations Manager in San Diego, CA to direct the manufacture and distribution of packaged and bulk gases. You will lead safety, quality, service and cost controls, supervise staff, and coordinate capital expenditures while ensuring regulatory compliance and OSHA/DOT/EPA/FDA requirements.

The role requires a high level of organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial gas/packaged gas industry plant environment, petrochemical, or related industries in operations and/or engineering or related activities.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory role.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be customer service oriented and able to interact with the public in a professional manner.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety within Airgas culture and ensure safety training is scheduled and documented.
• Oversee Safety, Quality, Service and Cost control of Operations team.
• Hire, train, motivate and direct operations staff; manage performance and resolve issues.
• Develop and coordinate capital expenditure budgets.
• Coordinate OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA compliance and Union agreements.
