CHEP is hiring a Forklift Operator in Temple, TX, with a focus on safety and efficient material handling. You will operate sit-down forklift equipment to move pallets and materials within the plant, following safety guidelines and reporting any issues to maintenance.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse environment and a valid forklift certification is preferred. The role offers full benefits from day one, a hybrid work model, and growth opportunities

Your role involves making decisions to optimize material movement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the plant operations. Additionally, you may be required to perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating and replacing liquefied-gas tanks on the forklift.Major/Key AccountabilitiesMaterial Handling & Forklift Operation:Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility.Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
