Job summary

CHEP USA is seeking a forklift operator to move pallets and materials across a busy plant. You will operate forklifts, load and unload shipments, and ensure safe handling of loads while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Role requires 2+ years in a fast-moving environment with forklift certification, and daily adherence to safety guidelines. Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend shifts and E-Verify participation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.
• Forklift operation experience with certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move pallets through the different departments in the plant.
• Move levers and pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE daily and report hazards.
