Job summary

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is seeking a Food Processing Machine Operator (Seasoner) to join our production team in Ohio. Shifts include Days, Afternoons, and Midnight with an hourly rate of $22.50.

You will set up and operate seasoning equipment, follow recipes, and monitor processing variables to ensure product quality and safety in a fast-paced facility. Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years of food manufacturing experience, knowledge of GMP and food safety, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in food manufacturing machine operating and troubleshooting preferred.
• Food safety handling, GMP compliance and quality assurance knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial food equipment, following precise recipes and work procedures.
• Monitor and adjust processing variables and perform product quality tests and data collection.
• React to direction from quality assurance and management personnel; adhere to safety protocols.
• Handle hand tools as needed in routine operations.
