Job summary

North West Rubber Colorado is seeking an experienced janitorial worker for an on-site full-time role in Houston, TX. You will perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance across production and facility spaces, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

You will operate cleaning equipment, manage supplies, and follow OSHA standards while working independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of cleaning/janitorial experience.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production and facility areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum floors and disinfect surfaces.
• Manage trash and recycling disposal processes.
• Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and carpet cleaners.
• Monitor supply inventory and report needs.
• Follow hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Respond promptly to cleaning and maintenance requests.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage.
• Support plant operations by maintaining cleanliness per OSHA and company standards.
