Job summary

Real Alloy's Chicago Heights facility is seeking a hands-on technician to install, repair, test, adjust, and service mobile equipment powered by internal combustion engines. You will diagnose using diagnostic tools and verify fixes with tests.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., plus a scheduled Saturday shift. The role offers direct hire with a structured skills training plan and a monthly incentive bonus up to $500, plus milestone retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Diagnose using diagnostic tools and verify fixes with functional tests.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and diagnose braking system issues.
• Follow OSHA requirements and verify safety devices are in place and operational.
• Apply LOTO and EHS best practices to every task.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose using pertinent diagnostic tools; confirm fixes with functional tests.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and resolve issues in braking systems.
• Operate at elevated work areas as needed, using mobile equipment and hand tools.
• Follow OSHA requirements for mobile equipment and verify safety devices are in place and operational.
• Apply LOTO and EHS best practices to every task.
