Job summary

TSMC Arizona seeks a Life Safety Systems Construction Engineer to lead on-site supervision and installation of fire protection, fire suppression, gas detection, and related systems. You will coordinate contractors, review drawings, and ensure regulatory compliance with design intent. The role requires 1–3 years in fire construction in the U.S.

and a relevant engineering or construction-management degree. On-site work at the Phoenix facility is expected, with competitive benefits and career

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of U.S. experience in fire construction or related field.
On-site construction and life-safety systems experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

On-site supervision and management of life safety systems construction and installation.
Coordinate and manage contractors to meet safety, quality and schedule requirements.
Review construction documents, shop drawings and submittals for design consistency.
Conduct periodic on-site inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance.
Respond to RFIs and resolve on-site technical issues.
Document progress meetings and track actions and decisions.
Assist with testing, commissioning and final acceptance of life safety systems.
Communicate with internal teams and external contractors to align on requirements.
