Job summary

Texas International Terminals (TXIT) seeks a seasoned Fire Chief to lead industrial firefighting and emergency response across refinery, terminal, pipeline, and marine operations along the Texas Gulf Coast.

The role supports the Emergency Response Manager (ERM) with pre-incident planning, training, exercises, and mutual-aid coordination to ensure readiness for hydrocarbon fires, tank fires, and large-scale industrial emergencies.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial firefighting experience in refinery/terminal environments.
• Proven leadership of industrial fire brigades and ERTs.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and suppression tactics.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior technical fire response for refinery and terminal operations.
• Develop site-specific fire response strategies for high-hazard operations.
• Provide technical direction during refinery, terminal, pipeline, and marine fires.
• Coordinate drills, exercises, and mutual-aid partnerships.
• Maintain readiness and provide ERT training with the ERM.
