Job summary

SMS Mill Services, LLC in Portage, Indiana, is seeking a Cost Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a $150M global industrial services organization. You will partner with Operations to analyze performance and drive ROI across multiple sites.

The role requires 5–7 years in finance, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, advanced Excel, ERP proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 50%. CPA or MBA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in a heavy industrial service environment is preferred.
• 5-7 years’ experience in finance or accounting with at least 3 years in a financial planning role.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support to regional operations and senior management.
• Develop and maintain internal reporting and KPIs for global operations.
• Own the quarterly forecast and annual budget process for the region.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to drive efficiency and ROI across sites.
