Job summary

Scientific Search seeks an Operations & Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance across CAS equipment, troubleshoot, and support upgrades at proximate sites. The role emphasizes safety, 5S cleanliness, and strong customer relations with occasional after-hours work.

Candidate must have hands-on experience with compressors, air systems, and PLC/automation controls; CMMS familiarity and ability to read schematics are required. Must travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have safety training and OSHA 10 certification.
• High school diploma required; two-year technical degree or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Proven hands-on experience with compressed air systems and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with CMMS and basic electrical/controls troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and ability to interface with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventive/predictive maintenance on compressors, chillers, dryers, pumps and related equipment.
• Provide emergency repairs and after-hours availability.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose problems, replace/repair components to maintain uptime.
• Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain spare parts and relationships with OEMs; document maintenance tasks.
