Amada America, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to support customers with Amada equipment installation, service, and training. You will perform troubleshooting, programming training, and applications training, and may work with punching presses, brakes, shears, and automation systems.

Regular travel within assigned territories is required. The role involves reading layout drawings, completing daily service reports, and maintaining customer relations.

Formación

• A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience is preferred.
• Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems and networks.
• Ability to read and interpret layout drawings and blue prints used in installation.
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned territories.

Responsabilidades

• Support customers with Amada equipment installation, service, and training.
• Provide programming, software, and application training.
• Train on line control software and part programming.
• Travel within assigned territories.
• Complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools on site.
