Job summary

Matrix Design Group LLC, based in Newburgh, IN, is seeking an Industrial Field Service Technician to install, startup, and service our industrial products. The role is on-site at our Newburgh home office with extensive travel to customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have a technical school certificate, hands-on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train customers while ensuring safety and quality. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion from a technical or trade school.
• Industrial maintenance/electrical experience preferred.
• Fork truck or telehandler maintenance/troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Safety-minded with priority on safe work practices.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, dependable and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on-site or via phone.
• Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of products.
• Oversee and support third-party installers during installations.
• Test and troubleshoot system functions and train customers in operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate service schedules with customers at various locations.
• Create detailed reports for installations and technical support issues.
