Job summary

Matrix Design Group in Newburgh, IN, is seeking an Industrial Field Service Technician to provide on-site support, installation, startup, and commissioning of all company industrial products and systems. The role requires travel up to 75% and on-site work at various facilities.

You will train customers and oversee third-party installers while maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate has a technical trade-school credential, industrial maintenance/electrical experience, and strong

Qualifications

Certificate of Completion from a technical or trade school is required.
Industrial maintenance/electrical experience preferred.
Fork truck or telehandler maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong time management skills and organization.
Safety-minded (safety must be a priority).
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Quality-minded, resourceful, and dependable.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support by troubleshooting on site or via phone.
Install, startup, and commission various products.
Oversee and support third-party installers during customer installations.
Test and troubleshoot system functions; train customers in operation and maintenance.
Coordinate service schedules with customers at various locations.
Create detailed reports for installations and technical support issues.
